The Property
In the heart of Palm Beach Gardens’ Evergrene Audubon Sanctuary, Palm Club Design Group transformed a 4-bedroom, 3,600-square-foot residence built in 2003 into a showcase of modern renovation and remodel excellence. Though the original “Elliston” floorplan offered solid construction, its dated mid-2000s aesthetic (characterized by dark cabinetry and yellow tile floors) was ready for a complete design overhaul. With an unrestricted mandate, Palm Club set out to demonstrate the remarkable potential of architectural design in South Florida homes.
The Mandate
The homeowners, a family of six with four young children and multiple pets, needed more than just a cosmetic update. Their vision called for additional square footage, extra bedrooms and bathrooms, and functional outdoor living areas, all while maintaining a sophisticated design aesthetic. Palm Club’s challenge was to balance high-end renovation and architectural design with a practical budget.
The Plan
Many homes in Palm Beach Gardens feature soaring double-height “grand rooms.” While visually striking, these void spaces reduce livable area. Palm Club’s design and construction team, working alongside trusted general contractors and structural engineers, reimagined the layout by enclosing ceiling voids, reframing walls, and creating new openings. The remodel achieved:
Over 1,200 square feet of additional conditioned space
Three new bedrooms
One additional bathroom
A custom movie theatre and entertainment room

With the architecture redefined, Palm Club curated finishes that elevated the home’s aesthetic. Our in-house custom cabinetry team designed a generous new kitchen that maximized storage, improved flow, and reflected the client’s lifestyle. Details such as double dishwashers, now a Palm Club signature, addressed the needs of a busy household.
A curated palette of bold tile, natural stone, textured wallpapers, and decorative lighting sourced from exclusive trade suppliers brought richness and personality to each room. The result was a layered interior that blended luxury with livability.
