West Palm Beach Home Redefined for Modern Living
The Property
Perched along the scenic banks of Florida’s Intracoastal Waterway, this Mediterranean-inspired residence offered generous proportions but lacked the architectural impact and design sophistication of neighboring luxury homes. With four bedrooms and four bathrooms, the property presented Palm Club Design Group with a one-of-a-kind opportunity to transform a dated structure into a contemporary showpiece befitting its prestigious West Palm Beach setting.
The Mandate
After evaluating the cost and feasibility of a complete demolition and rebuild, the clients concluded that a comprehensive renovation would deliver comparable results more efficiently. They engaged Palm Club Design Group to reimagine the home from the ground up, preserving what worked while entirely redefining its architectural character and interior design aesthetic.
The directive was clear: create a modern, contemporary masterpiece that would be nearly unrecognizable from the original home. With creative freedom granted, Palm Club set out to execute an ambitious remodel that balanced architectural ingenuity with refined interior detailing.
The Plan
Looking past the home’s original angled walls, rounded arches, and dated rooflines, Palm Club Design Group developed a plan that would reframe the existing structure while introducing bold architectural interventions. Key design moves included:
Removing angled walls and curved details to establish clean, modern lines
Re-pitching key rooflines for a more balanced, streamlined silhouette.
Introducing strategically placed floor-to-ceiling windows and oversized glass sliders to blur the boundary between interior and exterior living spaces.
The master suite underwent a major transformation, with its bathroom expanded, a third garage integrated into the footprint, and a new covered lanai with an outdoor kitchen added to enhance livability. Inside, selective reframing opened the flow between the kitchen, living, and family areas, unified visually by a double-sided gas fireplace overhung by a custom plastered hanging column. Additional upgrades included a new laundry, cabana bathroom, and storage room, ensuring both form and function were maximized.

Design Details
The interior design palette juxtaposes light and dark tones to achieve an elegant contemporary aesthetic. Custom cabinetry and millwork, crafted from richly textured oak, introduced warmth and tactile luxury to balance the sleek, modern forms.
Externally, the transformation is equally dramatic. The home now features black metal window trim, natural stone facades, wood-look tile, and pale off-white walls that emphasize crisp geometry and modern symmetry. Natural stone pavers lead to a resort-inspired infinity pool and spa, creating an unforgettable outdoor environment perfect for entertaining and relaxation.
A full furniture and décor package curated by Palm Club Design Group completed the transformation, ensuring seamless harmony between architecture, interiors, and landscape.
The Outcome
The finished residence stands as a modern architectural statement: elevated, cohesive, and unrecognizable from its former self. Once an outdated Florida home, it now commands its position on the Intracoastal as a striking example of contemporary design and exceptional renovation.
